Scott was so pretty! He had a beautiful, angelic face and a sexy body...in addition to his talent. He had such a great vocal range & he could sing any song, nearly duplicating voices from Jim Morrison ("Break on Through") to Bing Crosby's Christmas songs! STP has a deep, massive catalogue with so many underrated songs. "Down" is my favorite. They kick some ass playing that hard rocking song... yet it is a hidden gem to many! God I miss Scott and STP ❤ The DeLeo brothers are very talented and very seriously underrated guitarists...I wish they continued playing kick ass music but independently & not under the STP name. There is no STP without Scott (fuck- ing) Richard Weiland. Period.

I was at this show...1 day after my 38th Birthday. It was my 4th STP show. I saw one of Scott's last solo shows right before he died and he was like an empty shell on stage...its insane how much he changed in just those 5 years. Such a huge loss.

What an amazing voice and poetic lyrics Scott had. So glad I got to grow up hearing both of them and having them shape me. Purple is one of the best albums I've ever heard and it still sticks with me until this day. Kitchenware and Candy bars grips me now at 44 as much as it did when I was 15.

Could there be a greater generational contrast; these uber-talented grunge musicians were almost ashamed to be famous and rich. Today's generation seeks to be rich and famous, but without any perceptible talent.
